Maybe it's the economy, but I have been getting more requests than usual as to the fee I require for coming to speak in churches, which has made me feel increasingly uncomfortable. Let me pause to share my conviction.
As you have heard me say, I absolutely love a room full of estrogen and an open Bible! I have been drawn to study the beautiful role women have in the church. I am amazed once again at the honored role we have to serve. And that’s just what I want to do…serve.
I do not require a minimum fee. I would like very much to submit to an amount that you and your church leaders find appropriate. If you ask, I will give you an average. I do not want money to cause me to miss an opportunity to study the precious Word of God with your ladies.

I want to convince you that no matter how tangled your life has become there is hope. If you choose to believe that He is able to keep His promises to you, then you stand on the precipice of watching God do the spectacular in your life.
At the very heart of God’s Word is the promise that He is sufficient. Let me repeat that ….God‘s Word is sufficient for every need we could ever have! We must stop turning to a quick fixes and start turning to the all-sufficient Truth. It is only because God transcends circumstances so that I can say with all the authority of God’s Word…There is hope! I want to shout it from the mountain tops to women everywhere, "There is hope!" My friend, God is not confined to your circumstance, He is not caught off guard by news of cancer, He is not limited by an unfaithful husband, or restricted by past failures. Stop turning to food, alcohol, drugs, divorce, men, shopping, abusing others, cutting, to give you a temporary reprieve. Turn to God! Only in Him will you find direction, answers, wisdom, love. He is not stingy and He doesn't hoard blessings. Quite the opposite is true! He has filled His Word, the Bible, with such great and precious promises that He wants not to lavish on you. It is for that reason I have compiled these pages full of His promises to you. It is my desire that you will grab hold of these with all your heart and focus and believe that God will do just as He has promised you.
But, if we neglect God’s promises we will soon find our thoughts, responses and reasoning distorted by sin and spiraling out of control. We will be left to act on our own impulses and in our own wisdom. What could lead to our own demise quicker than that?
This collection of my favorite promises of God are not to be used as a Band-Aid or a quick fix, but as a lamp to light the way to our Heavenly Father’s heart. If I have done my job, this collection of God’s promises will strengthen your hope and nearness to Him.
"Now may the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing,
