My favorite things about Kris Goertzen are her genuiness, her contagious laughter, her unashamed stand for truth and her heart that sees the needs of others. I remember the first time I went to lunch with her. You should have seen and how she thanked and praised the waitress who just glowed from Kris' love. I knew right then that I would really like her. She is one of the most gifted and unique women I have ever known. One of the things that has impressed me the most about Kris is her knowledge of Scripture and her ability to present the truths of God's Word in a practical way. I consistently go away from her teaching with new desire to go deeper in my walk with Christ, to dig into His Word, and to minister to the hearts and needs of others.

"God sent Kris into my life through a mother’s ministry when I was still fairly new to Hutchinson. At one of our meetings, she was the featured speaker. From the moment I heard Kris, God touched my heart through her teaching. A lot of time had passed since our initial meeting when my husband and I found ourselves in the position of looking for a new church home. I didn’t know Kris very well at that time, but God led me to seek her counseling. Since that time, I have had the privilege of learning from and working with Kris, my dear friend. She has taught me so much in my walk with God. The greatest lesson has been how to love others by first loving God.
